About Amivah
Amivah was established in the UAE in 2018 by Australian Expat Natalie Hobbs. Amivah’s mission is to help girls and women all over the world.
Having moved to Dubai in 2016, Natalie soon discovered that whilst period-proof underwear was available in some parts of the world, there was no locally-available brand in the UAE. Having experienced first-hand the benefits of period-proof underwear, Natalie made it her mission to bring this wonderful product to females here in the UAE.
Amivah became the exclusive distributor for Australian-brand Modibodi. In three and a half years, Natalie helped thousands of women in the Middle East switch from single-use disposable products to period-proof underwear and swimwear. During this time, Natlie hosted and attended many events in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah. She has been invited to speak on several podcasts, collaborated with well-known and respected social media influencers, supported UAE-based Team Angel Wolf and facilitiated distribution of period-proof underwear to women in need.
Natalie lives in Dubai with her husband and two daughters.
